felt rose headband TRIINU by Katré

59.00

Wreaths were a part of the dress of Estonian girls already in the 18th and 19th centuries. However, the Oub is a small urban fashion coat made of lace, silk ribbons and artificial flowers. Oubs became popular among peasant women in the 1870s and were still worn at the beginning of the 20th century.

Katré’s wreath was inspired by these headdresses and was made in the original technique, using woolen felt scraps from the furniture industry as a material. Products made using the felt rose technique also carry the CERTIFIED ESTONIAN ARTISANAL CRAFT title. First, the head jewelry was ready to decorate the “Silverwoolly” collection. Since the headpieces received a lot of attention at the fashion shows, they became a product that can be purchased for your jewelry collection this fall. The Katré wreath can be worn both as a wreath and as a headband. It is suitable as a tasteful accessory for any special day, even weekdays are special!

*Felt is sewn.
