ELLEN RICHARD is a modern, bold and forward-looking clothing brand that cares about its ecological footprint and designs only the clothes we need on a daily basis. The name of the brand comes from the grandparents of the designers, because it was Ellen and Richard who gave them their passion for design. ELLEN RICHARD follows timeless, clean forms and adds personal flair. Emphasis is placed on functionality, ease of combination and long-term wear. The clothing is intended for wearers who value bohemian freedom, personal and high-quality design and who make informed choices in their consumption.
All ELLEN RICHARD products are handmade in Estonia, in close communication and cooperation with local seamstresses. Wool and linen fabrics used in the clothing are also knitted and dyed here. Most fabrics are also OEKO-TEX and GOTS certified, which means that the materials are organically grown and no chemicals are used in their production process.
The brand was born in the spring of 2017, when the founder and chief designer Kristi Pärn had graduated from the fashion department of the Estonian Academy of Arts, had raised two sons, and had been working in accounting for years when she felt it was the right time to make her childhood dreams come true and dive into the design world. In addition to Kristi, his eldest son Andreas Kübar has been working with him since 2018, and he has also graduated from the fashion department of EAA and is studying at the Kolding University of Design in Denmark and the Henrik Vibskov Fashion House.
